Working hard, little worker bees
Working in harmony with their Queen
All organised and team effort
Flying in the sky from sunrise to sunset
Gathering nectar and pollen for the entire colony
While pollinating the flowers as they work
Their little antenna guides them to the best flowers
When the work is done...
Listening to the air waves to find your way home
In the soft summer breeze
but...
While you huddle and shiver in winter
Keeping Queen bee warm in a cluster
Rotating each other in turn
Using the reserved honey sparingly
To last all of the winter
Little worker bees
We all enjoy the honey you make
How important you are to the environment
If it wasn't for you, I wouldn't be enjoying my honey treats
