Be Still

"Be still…
and know God!"
Present in every
atom, manifestation of being:

The chatter of the day --
our desires, fretting,
unsettling nature of seemingly
sometimes fathomless night –

can turn us, unwittingly from
ever alert angels~ vigilance
of inner eyes

who see all, inner
ears, ever listening
to a song of love, a tacit
sense of divine vibration~
an ever present, eternal touch
realized as awesome supernal
intimacy –

               God is
juice of every heartbeat,

every fluttering leaf motioned
by his spiritual breath –

every cloud,
every beam of sunlight, glitter for a sail
of constantly changing, evolving shape and color
leading us to lofty awareness,

for conscious
relationship with the omnipotent love who made us,
and eternally guards while journeying with us….

We are never alone

division from one another
from beautiful Core Source, a lie

an illusion in the theater of Time and space

to eventually be dissolved….

This is so beautiful and has moved my heart. I too sense God that way, one who who is present in every atom, one who leaves us never alone and one who gives us supernal intimacy. Enjoyed your poem with such deep spiritual undertones.

I really like this—it’s peaceful and comforting. The way you talk about God being in every little thing, from heartbeats to leaves, feels super calming. It’s like a reminder to slow down and just feel connected, even when life gets noisy. Feels warm and real.

You're so right, the chatter of the 'illusion' can distract us from using our 'inner eyes.' (well said, by the way). I especially liked: God is juice of every heartbeat, every fluttering leaf motioned by his spiritual breath – I loved the spirituality of your poem. It touched my soul. Faving...have a blessed evening, Sara

Sounds as if you are communing and communicating with Unseeking Seeker, Joe... Just teasing a bit there... Seriously, pure truth in your words. ~ Gershon

Oh no! I was trying to reach God. Oh well, I'll settle for Unseeking Seeker. He's a fine devotee.
