A cloud from the sky plopped down on my knee Said, ‘Do you realize all my rain is for free’ Not only that for the cloud was not done asking, ‘Are you aware I shield folks from the sun’ Taken aback, I kept my mouth shut ~ relaxing under a shady chestnut

If I were you I’d have asked for a ride, so that I could see the world from both sides. Sunny side up, or rain falling down, for that I’d have paid the cloud half a crown, two and six in old money that is… Beryl
