What Is That!!!!

It all started smooth, the day was bright and we just pulled up to the cabin in the woods. Emily and I went to the gas station about 20 miles down the road to buy some ice and three 24 packs of Bud Light for the late night party. We enter the store and the cashiers says “howdy partner, what are you doing in Millville” I replied “it's spring break we are at my parents cabin for a party I'm throwing” he said “I'm not sure that's a good idea, there is a huge murder rate in that forest”. I began to walk away to the beer fridge and grab what I need, as I leave, he says “be safe young feller”. We go home and set up everything for the night and I hear a thump on the window. I begin to walk towards the window and open the curtain slightly to see what it was and I see two glowing eyes and a white mask, which to me looked like a hockey mask but I asked myself “Jason doesn't live out here right”? I continue to stare into the eyes of the mysterious creature and begin to walk away hoping it was just a glare. Time goes on and I hear a scream in the basement, I quickly run to the bottom of the basement stairs and I see Emily hanging from a cross nailed from hands and feet. I begin to freak out and run back upstairs and grab my Glock 19 to protect myself and I hear a doorbell ring. I begin to walk towards the door and open it and begin to let a few rounds off nearly hitting my friends. They yell “WHAT THE HELL MAN YOU ALMOST SHOT US!!” I quickly say “I'll explain get the HELL in here!” I begin to tour them to the basement and they see Emily on the cross and begin to freak out. I tell them to follow me and we go to the secret armory my dad built. I begin passing guns out to everyone and we begin to search to find out who could have done this. we walk for about 20 minutes and I see the same creature that was at the house before Emily died. I tell everyone to come over here and we point are weapons at it to kill it and it begins to stand up on its legs. man, I can't tell you how creepy this creature looked it reminded me of Jeepers Creepers. It was about 9 feet tall, wings were about 10 feet long each way. I couldn't tell you how scary it was, lucky for me, I was the first to shoot it I did aim a little low if you know what I mean. after the final shot was fired we walked up to it to finish it off and I began to say "this is for Emily" I took a 12 gauge and put it to the creature's eyeball and pulled the trigger leaving nothing but brains and smoke.

Very scary and sad that Emily died. Glad you killed that monster :) I bet you never went back to the cabin anymore. Great story, Chris :)
