The Tale Of Peter And The Magical Ukulele

Once upon a time their lived a young boy named Peter Kauff out in beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia. He lived with his parents James and Helen Kauff. He was ten years old and an only child.

Well one day young Peter was accompanying his parents on a shopping trip. The Kauff family went in an antique store as James and Helen were looking for a table when Peter spotted a ukulele. He begged his parents to buy it for him so they did. As soon as the family arrived home Peter ran upstairs to his bedroom and began to play his ukulele until he began to get hungry. Peter looked at the time. It was five pm.

He wondered why his parents hadn’t called him down for lunch.
“Had they forgotten about their one and only son”?
“No that could never happen” thought Peter to himself.

He went downstairs. His parents were nowhere in sight. He looked outside. The car was in the driveway. Peter then searched the house from top to bottom and even outside but there was no sign of his parents. So after eating a peanut-butter and jam sandwich Peter went to bed thinking he would see his parents the next day. The next day rolled along and still there was no sign of young Peters parents. He tried calling some friends but every number he called was out of order. Peter became afraid.

He stepped outside to see a business man walking up towards the door. The man greeted Peter by saying
“Hello Peter my name is Jason and I am here to make sure you do well in your music career”.
“Music career! What music career”?
“I am ten years old. I am no musician” said Peter.
“But you are” said Jason.

Jason handed Peter the newspaper and said “look at this paper who do you see on the front page”?
Peter looked at the paper and gasped. He was on the front page with his ukulele.
“Am I supposed to perform”? Asked Peter
“Yes” said Jason. “To millions of people next Friday”.

So each day Peter began practicing his ukulele for the upcoming performance. He also had to practice singing. Peter had dancers, vocal coaches and Jason his music manager working with him to help him prepare for the major day.

Finally Friday, game day for Peter arrived. Although he had stage fright Peter and his ukulele put on a good show for millions and millions of screaming fans.

The next day Peter awoke to find himself in a hospital with his concerned parents by his side. He had fainted and had been in a coma for the past week

But you and I my dear readers we know what really happened to Peter.
I wonder where peter and his ukulele will end up next.
