The Sword of Deception Acknowledgement

To the shattered and the weary, I know of your pain; I once wore your tears and carried your shame your thoughts were once mines there are times you believe that no-one cares, no-one understands but as a writer, a friend, a brother, a sister in ' Christ Jesus’, I am here to testify that you are wrong someone does care.

I may not know you all and in this world, we may never meet nor may you ever consider me a friend but as a writer, I can only share a tale with you, fictional or real, I leave it to your imagination. I can assure you that by experience and in my travels, I have encountered a force stronger and greater than man ‘who is it or what is it’ you may enquirer. I can only tell you that I am certain that after reading this book you will both meet someday and like me you too will testify.

On my deathbed, I have learnt that pain is only for a while and crisis is a friend it’s the start of everything new and bright. Crazy you may say, I am but wait just read some more and you will discover that there is a strength and ultimate power in the blood of the highest the true one we all tend to ignore his blood heals, his mercy restores, his love gives hope to us all.

When you cry, ‘Jesus cries’, when you hurt he carries you and when you’re weary, alone, lost and feeling as though you can’t carry on he walks with you. You may be wondering how I know, I myself was once lost, weak, hurt, resentful and bitter. I too felt as though no one cared, many nights I would plan my own destruction the thought of suicide sat constant at my side.

I thought of escaping without a trace but most of all deep inside I just wanted someone else to take away my pain. I believed that if death had me the sorrow the pain would all end. Some nights I would call unto thee and ask , why lord, why have thou forsaken me.

In this life, we think that our battles are only in the physical realm we never stop to wonder or think that we also fight battles in the spiritual realm. It is here we meet forces way stronger than ourselves this is where the battle intensifies and if we are not equipped with the knowledge of our creator and his words it is here we physically and mentally die.

We all share two common enemies ‘Self and Satan’, yes self and Satan are our enemies day and night in crisis and out of crisis there pursue and persecute us. I owe my new beginning to the ‘Almighty’, my ‘Saviour’ and my 'Creator' for in the valley of sorrow he found me and delivered me.

He can do the same for you, I was not always a poet or a writer but through my journey of death a new me arose these words I now write are inspired by the ‘Holy Spirit’ too him, I owe my life so for him I write.

Ephesians: 1:3, ‘We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places’.
