The Story Of How Elk Got Their White Bums

A long time ago in the lush green forests near the Rocky Mountains their lived a mal and a female elk named Johnny and Ella.
Johnny and Ella loved to gallop along the forest floor and play together.
They were a lively pair of elk.
One early morning in the Spring time when the flowers were starting to bloom and the birds chirping delightful sounds of music Johnny and Ella were as usual exploring the forest together, when they came upon litter on the ground left by humans.
“look at all this garbage on the ground”, said Johnny in disgust. “Why do humans like to leave litter on the ground?”
“I don’t know”, said Ella.
Suddenly she noticed some white garbage on the ground.
“Johnny do you see that white stuff on the ground among the litter that looks like snow?” asked Ella.
“Yes” said Johnny. “Why?”
“Because it looks interesting”. “Lets check it out”. Said Ella.
“I don’t think we should”, said Johnny.
But Ella without listening to Johnny headed towards the snowy white garbage on the ground so Johnny followed. Both of the elk fell and their bums fell on the white stuff which turned out to be toilet paper.
The toilet paper stuck to Johnny and Ella’s bums, no matter how hard they tried to get the toilet paper off.
From then on all of the elk in the generations to follow had white bums.
