The Story Of Charles The Mouse

Out in the beautiful and remote town of Kananaskis, Alberta in the residence where golf course workers live during the summer and ski hill workers live during the winter their live hundreds of mice.

Now the mice live in the walls of the building. At night while laying in bed you can hear their little feet scampering behind bedroom walls. Sometimes it can be annoying and stop you from falling asleep.

Anyways this is a story on a young mouse named Charles.

Charles, an adventurous young mouse loved to go exploring all around the residence every day. It was his favorite activity to do.

Not that a mouse can do too many activities. They can’t play sports like humans can nor walk on two feet either.

So on this particular morning Charles asked his mother if he could go exploring and she said yes.

Off he went scampering in the walls behind bedrooms and soon found an opening to the outside world. His mother had a rule that Charles was never allowed to leave the walls but on this particular day Charles decided not to heed his mothers rule. He crawled through the whole and found himself exploring a whole new world for a mouse beyond mazes and mazes of walls. He scampered through hallways, under furniture and on top of kitchen counters getting his little paws and nose into places he shouldn’t have been.

Suddenly feet appeared in front of Charles. He tried to run but a hand reached down and grabbed Charles. Charles scratched and bit and got free. He ran back into the wall and after that day never explored outside the walls again.

The End
