The Boy And The Dog: Luke And Buddy A Christmas Story

Once upon a time on a cold winter’s night in early December a seven-year-old boy named Luke was playing outside in the snow with his golden retriever dog Buddy. They were enjoying each others company and enjoying the weather. It was beginning to get dark outside. Luke was surprised that his mother hadn’t called him inside for dinner yet. He was feeling hungry. So Luke said to his dog and mans best friend Buddy come on Buddy lets get back to the house. It’s time to eat some food.
As they arrived at the house Luke noticed it was dark and that their were no lights on. That’s strange thought Luke to himself. Why would my parents not be at home? He unlocked the door and Luke and his dog went in to the house. He searched high and low in the house and couldn’t find his parents and then as he was about to leave he stumbled across an envelope addressed to him on the kitchen table. Luke wondered what was in the envelope. He picked up the envelope and stared at it for several minutes before deciding to open it. It was a letter from Santa Claus. Santa Claus was requesting Lukes help. If Luke decided he want to help Santa Claus he would need to step outside right now because the letter said that Santa would be waiting outside after Luke had read the letter.
Luke didn’t even have to think about what to do. He Grabbed Buddy and outside headed the boy and his dog. And to his amazement there was a sled with eight reindeer and in the drivers seat was Santa. Well what are you waiting for asked Santa? Hop in. So into the sled hopped Luke and his dog Buddy. And off they went to the North Pole. On their way to the North Pole Santa Claus told Luke and Buddy that the elves were not behaving and wanted to keep all of the toys they were making for themselves. Luke and Buddy would have to set the elves straight.
Upon arriving to the North Pole Luke and his dog Buddy headed straight to the elves toy shop which was in chaos. The pair saw the elves acting like children and playing with the toys instead of getting the toys ready to be delivered.
Attention yelled Luke and has he yelled Attention his Dog Buddy Barked Loudly three times.
The elves stopped what they were doing and looked at Luke.
Luke spoke sharply to the elves. You can enjoy playing with the toys but remember these toys are to be given away on Christmas Eve to kids all around the world.
The elves thought about it and realized they had been selfish and were messing around. They thanked Luke and Buddy for the pep talk and from that day on they never thought about keeping toys for themselves ever again.
