Sporting Family Support

As the day’s sun was maturing turning into an evening sky the gulf water streamed in the tranquil pond where Hal met his friend Dale to discuss concerns unfolding during their senior years.

“Our little devil is out of the money,” Hal reported to Dale with a sigh showing a disappointing grin.

“Who was that?” Dale innocently questioned.

“Richie’s great girl,” Hal continued mentioning the daughter to his son who was a successful winner since her father spent the allowance, he had the option to claim.

Suddenly, a crowd erupted from inside the arena which the two were standing outside enjoying a break. Deciding to go back Hal and Dale returned to the family gathering featuring recreative activities presented by children.

Richie was there being a proud poppa getting ready to watch the theatrical performance which his daughter rehearsed every day.

“Who is that burly boy?” Hal inquired about the youngster coming out with her on the exhibition floor.

“Sarah calls him Mr. Axel he is a part of the show,” Hal’s wife explained.

“Is he out of the money too?”

“Shh,” Dale’s wife commanded putting one finger to her lips.

During the routine, the atmosphere was silent until the climatic move; ‘The Twirling Star’ followed by a high five completing the production.

“Listen to the Awsum Roar,” Hal saw his son gleam sending a message that this put everything into place., “that is my sassy Sarah,” the motherly complement showed the Mizraim family fortress was financially secure.

Later Richie jogged into the parking lot prepared to defend his turf knowing the confirmed tallied scores, “All good,” he claimed trying to catch his breath,” Sarah’s team won.”

“That is nice,” Hal shook hands,

“Well, we have to zipalong,” Dale graciously spoke up.

“We need to get back to our place before it gets too dark,” his wife added.

After the contingent dispersed Hal watched his offspring congratulate the two kids and once again was reminded about how Richie made it to the top.

“That is right,” Hal’s wife tucked at his arm, “His family knows how to win.”

Looking up to the heavens Hal winked, “you knew all along everything would work out for the best.”
