The Magic Pen

Pen to paper was her sanctuary the birth of her new beginning Patrice was a very creative child she would spend hours reading Shakespeare novels her favourite was ‘Mid-summer night dream’ she was fascinated by the love that the characters Helena and Demetrius both shared.

Her love for Shakespeare taught her the art of poetry and it was the sword of deception that gave her the will to write poems from the heart each of her lines were inspired by the ‘Holy Spirit’, every thought, line and word was scrolled with a tear her sorrows were now turned into poetic art.

Like Doctor ‘ Myles Munroe’, a preacher from Nassau, Bahamas once said, ‘ Crisis is an event which has the ability to bring about change’. Patrice after reading this felt a little hopeful, as things didn’t seem so gloom and doom anymore she began by composing a list of choices setting new goals both for her and the children.

As her list grew she had realised that the things she hated about Stephan had out weighed the things she loved about him for days she pondered on what she had discovered he was her lover how could she of not notice that there relationship had lacked substance in her moment of deep concentration Patrice vowed to re-build her life making every moment count.

Looking at her accomplishments she had observed that life without Stephan was not as bad as she thought it would be his departure had taught her soul to sing. She had formed a new relationship with her Saviour and had been granted the gift of creative writing. In this new enchanting world she was able to bond with her Saviour and be at one with her writing here she could be herself there was no judgentment or deciet.

In her Saviours world she was loved, in his arms she was safe, at his feet words came alive there was no deception here peace had finally found her.

2 Corinthians 5:17

‘ Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here’!
