Observing What's In The Clouds

As the sun distributed a golden guiding light there was a cold breeze terrorizing the ground and Hal pressed the binoculars into his eyes to see the skies off in the distance. While staring into the open space a genuinely concerned Dale made his way onto the watch tower that was perfectly positioned on the South Beach northern most rim whose destination was promoted at tourists for its picture postcard view of a stream that flowed peacefully into the gulf.

“Is something at stake here at South Beach?” Dale inquired catching his breath about the seashore outpost’s future in the next four or more years.

“No,” Dale sternly retorted, “if they strike the top, they certainly will be out of the money.”

Suddenly, Hal saw what he feared and in a second chills went through him realizing the strike appeal was a reality.

“It’s Yamato breezing along thinking he was a winner,” Hal breathed in a way that Dale could hear.

“He is out there on his flying Pegasus,” Dale continued the observation.

“Thinking I am down here just an American Ninja putting on a show,” Hal concluded.

After the glowing illumination decided to make its descent Hal sat in the office that had his name on the door when a maiden sporting a special weight entered holding a notebook and manila folder.

Opening the file her mouth followed, “So, Hal the happy boy rocket issue today, many think he won, your thoughts,” Hal could see the tape recorder moving in a circular motion.

“Well, Madame Secretary our intelligence told us Yamato and his flying Pegasus found a place on Montauk Point and fulfilled his mission which was to show a complete agenda,”

“You think there was never any intention of an attack, and this photo opportunity was beyond,” Madame Secretary paused, “best he could do.”

“I told Dale when this stunt was being pulled if Yamato decided to strike the top beyond best judgment he would be out of the money,”

“You mean break his own bank,”

Shaking his head affirmatively Madame Secretary thanked him pleasantly and upon leaving greeted Dale, “well my boy it was a very busy day today,”

“Yes, Madame Secretary, no time to waste.”

After the boss left the room Hal stood up and hands on his hips peered through the cracks in the closed blinds, “you do not think Yamato will ever strike the top?” Dale asked.

Hal shrugged his shoulders, “I do not know, I just hope we can peacefully handle this diplomatically.”
