Notification Of A Pitch
After getting the boot Giuseppe who was looking for green was strutting down La La Avenida Manana heading to a meeting with two entertainment big wigs named Hal and Dale.
“F LA,” he said in Italian still having faith and hope of being a creative talented contributor to society.
Entering the glass door with one handle Giuseppe approached the receptionist who was still on the phone but had the physical capability to stick her finger out which made the writer looking for green stop in his tracks.
Being patient, he waited until the receptionist put the phone on its holder, “Can I help you?” she asked him.
“I am Giuseppe and I am looking for green after you know getting the boot.”
“Oh yes, Hal and Dale are waiting for you especially if you already F. LA.”
While seated in the waiting room until a commotion that ended two wired brim glasses twin brothers appeared making the statement, ‘Is adorable Aida,” they said in unison, “did not know much about it but its adorable Aida.”
Walking away the mature individual passed by Giuseppe before claiming under his breath, “you did not know much about it, is why you were out of the money before I came here.”
Hal and Dale gave him a wave before saying, “Giuseppe it is good to see you,” Hal exclaimed.
“And we know you are looking for green so come on in,” Dale continued the welcome greeting.
When he entered into the room Giuseppe sat there while the two took their places on the office stage, “We love it.”
“I have not even notified you about my pitch,” Giuseppe was being honest, “how do you know you love my work.”
“We have friends at Microsoft Word,” Hal mentioned.
“And you are looking for green,” Dale finished the thought, “we love it,” they both said in unison.
Sitting back in his chair Giuseppe looking for green pondered a moment before stating his case, “You see Lady Kate was given the mature option by claiming an allowance but she did not,” he started to spin his tale, “since she did not give Queen the yes factor she left the palace only to get into a violent trick that left her holding her canteen dead in the heat but still gorgeous in rags since you know she did not have any allowance.”
Standing up Hal went over to the safe and pulled out a stack of cash and handed it over to Giuseppe looking for green with Dale stating, “gorgeous in rags dead in the heat holding her canteen, we love it.”
Now that Giuseppe had what he wanted the one who got the boot started to count the cash when he spotted Aida on La La Avenida Manana. “They bought your story?” Aida asked as the bus pulled up.
“Yeah Aida whenever a member of the royal family does not do the ‘yes factor’ then ends up in a violent trick due to being out of the money, it pays good royalties.”
Climbing onto the uptown bus Giuseppe turned to Aida and asked, “are you coming?” Which made Aida respond, “I am waiting for the downtown one,” Aida told him starting to the other side of the street. As the mass transport left the depot Aida read the advertisement, “Interpret The Flash Fiction Works by Giuseppe Looking for Green On Sale At Waterstones.”
