Lighter Then Air

After accepting his classmate Amy’s Challenge Kowalski found himself venturing into the Hot Springs out of money and sweating like a future fiancé finding out the ring had a little rock.

“This is like a midnight fantasy that we use to watch on the drive in movie channel.” He stated looking for direction in life.

Back inside her home that had one Oak tree on the lawn Amy sat with a Dean Martini in her hand wondering what her boyfriend will be like when he returns from the loving assignment she sent him on earlier in the afternoon, “What are you doing, honey?” A voice came from the kitchen.

“Just studying about Santos Dumont for flight school and waiting to see if Kowalski will come back from the Hot Springs lighter than air,” Amy reported from her comfortable position when the door knocked.

Jumping up to answer it Amy opened the door to see Kowalski standing there thinner than a board, “Do you have a question to ask me?” she asked.

“While I was in the hot spring sitting on this little rock what to my amazement there was this image that rose from the bubbles and I said ‘what a fox’ and she said ‘no I am a maiden with a special weight since I am a blue angel lighter than air’.”

Amy just looked at him while Kowalski nervously stuttered “she put me on the right path in my journey in life when she told me to.”

Feeling lighter than air Amy accepted Kowalski’s proposal for marriage and the two flew out into the sunset together with a feeling of love that only could be felt in the clouds.
