Billy Linton's Firey Patriotic Resolution


Billy Linton found himself drenched in his warrior fatigues that could use a trip to the fluff/fold that his naïve bride used back home. Instead, the young freedom fighter was fulfilling orders from those in charge to guard something that seemed important at the time. Feeling depressed and lonely the growing adult who only a few months ago celebrated a day that would be remembered for the rest of his life started an emotional reflection to when he exchanged vows with Miss Toni Ellie Killan. Recounting this memorable vision proved his inner soul devotion during the tension filled combative weather storm where anything could develop forever changing life’s plans.

They were a pair admired by some and for others jealous immaturity occasionally surfaced. Billy Linton, the athlete played a game, and she cheered in high school. Then war started granting the boy direction along with a nice work uniform. How he missed her trusting committed attitude in the dark where he patrolled trying not to be spooked protecting his country’s flag.

As God’s anger could be heard above the electrical lightning gesture, flashed for a second, showing the path to be taken. Billy forged on not knowing what was next in his story.

Suddenly, there was an explosion, turning around Billy noticed it was not thunder while another blast engulfed the area in flames. He did not feel a thing only a warming tinge that could turn into a burning sensation or cooling relief filled with forgiveness.
