A Sale That Jay Did

After an evening of dining Gloria Pierre who knew how to win was energized with a renaissance attitude walking down the cobblestone street. This electrifying feeling only ignited a powerful pulse that in seconds flowed through her body.

“Look at all those rings with jade stones,” she exclaimed peering into the jewelry place whose awning showed the name “Village Jade,”

Standing outside the proprietor took out a cigarette, “you know mam, I will be out of the money, all these people do is come in and goaroncircles,” he grumbled taking a puff sounding jaded, “they are not customers, they are window shoppers.”

Taking a better grip on her purse Gloria came closer and said excuse me, “sure just another browser.”

Pulling out her wallet, Gloria, turned around, “you must have taken a fearless chance on this place,” she smiled counting the paper currency that was inside her wallet.

As the owner’s eyes opened seeing a serious buyer he explained his plight, “yes, I was showing a full deck when I made the investment,” Jay pointed to his head and recounted what he did, “but it was DW’s blissful thinking that put him out of the money, and I came in with financial aid.”

“Whose DW?” Gloria inquired.

“My brother,” Jay now standing behind the enclosed displays, “Always a Z Tam wanting to be first,”

“Always Z what?”

“Tam means ‘earth’ in another language,” he replied, “always digging into the soil and finding jade stones.”

“Can I inspect them,” Gloria pick three that she liked, “they are free to hold, right,”

“Yes,” the clerk stated wanting to make a quick sale.

“My niece Emily needs something to let us say give her an advance placement at the teen pizza social this weekend,” Gloria pointed towards the second one feeling a devious delight,”

“Yes of course, with a rock like that it will be a show known as AP Emily’s Dance; I am sure.”

Watching Gloria pull out a handful of credit cards and cash Jay could see what it took the lady to be extraordinarily successful in life, “just like her aunt she needs to be a part of things.”

Yes, number one on top always b deo,” Jay started to count the cash while swiping the plastic.

“Always be what?” Gloria asked.

“Deo means ‘part’ in another language,” Jay clarified.

After signing the receipt Gloria made sure the box was in the plastic bag before making an exit, “after all those cheese pizza’s my little advance placement Emily's dance will make her a brickyard vixen and popular to everyone.”

While returning to counting the money Jay heard the door jingle and finished the sentence mumbling under his breath, “just like her aunt she will be out of the money.”
