My first story of a rocks life

There was a girl named Jensa she was 16 and lived in an old village. She had several siblings but the 2 oldest was her brother Joseph and sister blossom. Her brother Joseph traveled the seas and ended up in a land only few knew about and her sister Blossom married when Jensa was younger and She had 3 younger siblings wally john and sarah. Sarah was the youngest and then john. But Wally and Jensa were the same age and born as twins. They lived in an ancient village where their family lived for hundreds of years.
The village was formed in the shape of a square and it was A half of a mile away from the water
They grew their vegetables and other plant products on the outside of the village in a field closest to the water and insight of the village.

Her Dad was a warrior in times of war and a fisherman when peace was amongst them.
Her mom was always making clothes and cooking with the other mothers for the community. Jensa often had to help her mom deliver the clothes her mother would make in the morning and help gather and cook.
For awhile Jensa and wally were trying to impress her dad And
They always liked to prove their abilities and strengths to the others from the village and used To lay traps and nets to help catch fish.
One day she woke up with a light in her eyes from the dreams of the Gods
And knew that this day would prove to be a bad day. She had carried on without acknowledging her dreams but had a feeling that she forgot about when She walked down to the water to pull the net up and there was a clump of crystals tied up in it. She was so excited about finding it she forgot all about her fish and ran home to show her brother. When she showed her brother her brother found himself wanting it. He tried to grab it but the crystal had broken in many different pieces but this crystal wasnt one whole crystal. It was several crystals connected by mud and years in the sand. When this ball of crystals broke. One crystal made her heart thump with excitement. It was in the shape of a circle and shined like the middle of the sun.
She picked the clump of crystals up but kept the sun like crystal seperate from the others.
She gave all her friends from the village and her siblings a crystal from the clump. They werent all interested in the crystals like her. It didnt matter much though.
She had the one she wanted.
After she gave most away she looked all over for her mom and found her feeding leftover vegetables to the stock on the outside of the village. When jensa got to her mom her mom made her help with it and made her milk the cows. When all the things her mom had her do she asked her mom if she could make a necklace for her from the crystal But her mom told her to do it herself and gave her strands of clothing materials.
late in the afternoon on the same day she was sitting in the middle of the village field weaving those same strands to make it strong enough to wear as a necklace While she was weaving the strands she heard a strange whistling sound on the wind and ignored it and kept making the necklace.
When She finally finished wrapping her crystal and weaving the necklace. She stood up and looked at it for a moment, then put it around her neck and a calm wind started blowing through the field and brought goosebumps to the girl's arms. When she realized it was dusk She started walking back to the village and whistling the song she heard earlier. When a loud scream hit her ears, she looked up and she saw a tribe of 20 warriors from a village from the island in the lake. It was a mystical island with tropical dense forestation and old civilizations. The island was always said to be cursed and all the fisheman would talk about it.
the warriors from the island were attacking her people setting fires and taking their supply of food. Most of the village's warriors were at sea fishing and Only a handful of warriors were left to protect the villagers. They had gotten most of the women and children out of the village. Jensa afraid for her life, ran and kept running. While she was running on the dunesby the shore there was a warrior on a great black horse who saw her running through the field. He charged at her but when he realized she wasnt a threat and still young. He decided to let her run but thinking that she might not make it all alone with nothing to eat. He chased her down and captured her. He tied her hands and made her walk while he rode behind her.
He met with the other warriors and the rest of the captured women from the village
All the men that were left in the village were killed and left to be buried by the warriors fishing.
The children were led to a safe place before the warriors got to the village.
Jensas father was fishing that day and was still alive and her mother, brothers and sister got away.
Jensa was the only one from her family captured.

The warriors decided to stop and camp for the night while heading back to their homes.
While they were camping they all ate and talked about what to do with their prisoners. The man who caught Jensa
Was named raudrig. He told jensa she wasnt in danger and explained why his warriors raided the village. He told her the children were sick and their plants were dying and they didn't have enough food. They were starving and the village thought they angered their gods of the land
Jensa heard stories about the mystical life affecting the villagers on the island in the lake.
After listening to the warriors talk about their reasons for doing what they did she found herself feeling bad for them and the sick families.
The next morning when they got to where they were going. They were immediately made to cook clean and take care of the sick. Jensa was still wearing her necklace but kept it tucked in. After a few long weeks a few people have died but most of the village got better. Raudrig the man who caught jensa thanked her but said her people can't go home.
From the outside jensa looked like she was handling it ok but on the inside she couldn't stop worrying about her mother and brothers. She missed her family but never let it show.
One day she walked out to the courtyard and watched the warriors and young men of the village train and started to think if she learned how to fight and survive on her own she could escape the village and find her way home.
She asked raudrig the best warrior in the village to train her in the arts of war. At first raudrig said no but had thought about it for a couple days and decided it would be good for her
to learn to defend her self against the harm that the world has to offer.
early one morning at dawn he took her too the training pits
and told her, If you are to learn the ways i can teach you must train your self to be disciplined. He said
you have to control your emotions and then he hit her.
Fire flamed in her eyes as she tried to attack him he put his foot out and moved to the side she fell on the ground. when she got back up she showed him she has the heart. He told her you never swing first power is in defense not in attacks. your reactions can benefit you if you control your emotions and evaluate your opponents stance.
After months of training Jensa, Raudrig decided it was time to teach her her final lesson. He said now is the time to defeat me and he through an ax and a shield. swing he said but she did not swing he yelled again but she still didn't swing remembering her first lesson she let him attack. when he attacked she spun around him and back armed him in the neck and her being small she didn't do much physical damage, but she made him question his tactics. When he gained his balance he went at her legs with his shield she stepped back and side stepped and kicked him in the ribs and caused him to fall on the cold wet ground.
he got back up but this time he had thunder in his brow and he struck as if he was going to go on a rampage Jensa through her shield up to defend but his strike broke the shield in 7 pieces and then he layed into her with his shield conking her down and proceeded to try and hit her but she rolled and flipped backwards to her feet and found her balance.
she kicked in the knee cap Raudrig fell to knee Jensa took her ax and wrapped the handle around his head Raudrig fell unconscious for a moment and when he awakened she was standing over him with his ax and shield on her back and a smile on her face and on his.
They All drank that evening and welcomed a new a warrior to the village but Jensa had a different idea.
she has been planning her escape since she go to the village and she new shed halve to travel through the living woods then across the lake through the ice fields and several villages and she knew this fore her friend Edric told her. she met Edric her second day in the village. Edric was trained by Raudrig too. they became close and found many similarities she even game him one the crystals she found. Her and Edric decided to leave the village together. so the morning after she finished her training, she and Edric packed light and left before the villagers woke up.
