sun burns bruised and cracked skin,
the moon waits its turn

When everything is lost. The word hope is a curse, Darkness so complete that your eyes are blind. The tears have dried up and the salt is gone from your body. Finger nails are cracked and broken. It is then you hear the voice say “I’m still here”. And you will say “So am I lord, so am I”

Perfectly cracked.

You can peer
into a person's soul
If your honesty
looking
But not reflecting
the cracked mirror
in your own soul

I beg to be
devoured by
pleasure
than wracked by
life -- this day
