Only we can stop Missouri from becoming South Dakota. The right to abortion is up in the air right now. There's a good chance that the Supreme Court might send it back to the states, and so if young people stay complacent, we could lose the right to choose. But if we keep fighting we could save our rights.

Missouri is a compassionate state. And I think that in a very special way, they have demonstrated the compassion which they have, ... And I hope that the outcome of this election is a matter of comfort to Mrs. Carnahan. And I hope that we can all accord her the opportunity to have the kind of necessary recovery time after such a great personal loss.

There are only two states in the nation that allow for a government to take private property and turn it over to a private company. That is not 'Public Use.' The procedure has been abused for a long while; and many other states have attempted to do the same things - but, Missouri actually allows it. Missouri is one of the worst places for it.
