When you’ve walked through a storm and have arrived safely home, you realise you never walked alone. There’s someone out there who mingles with you, seeing you safe till your door is shut to.

Just my opinion, years of analysis...but God Alone will decide when prayer is enough for His immediate intervention. In most cases, He has given us the power, right and duty to self govern (that is Free Will). With that in mind, most prayer without the sacrifice of personal action will not accomplish a desired goal. Unfortunately/fortunately that has created human devils and saints.
