I have a great deal of faith and trust in our judicial system. These young men will be given the opportunity to have a fair trial, and because of our system of justice, are innocent until proven guilty. However, as student-athletes, they are held to a higher level, and will remain suspended until further information becomes available.

When public men indulge themselves in abuse, when they deny others a fair trial, when they resort to innuendo and insinuation, to libel, scandal, and suspicion, then our democratic society is outraged, and democracy is baffled. It has no apparatus to deal with the boor, the liar, the lout, and the antidemocrat in general.
