For sure, we can overwork things, and ourselves...when painting, an important mastery of art is to sense when to stop. I do...but like you am seldom certain. Once risen above the self, it is such a daunting responsibility knowing all that we do also represent elements of God.

No one is above the law, but some men make the law.

Life is a beautiful lie. Sometimes we deserve the smile, sometimes we deserve the cry. Above all we deserve to die.

Every creature breathes the air of its own world,
a prisoner and a master of its element,
in a universe where ‘as above, so below’
is the first and final law.

"When insulted or mistreated, maintain your integrity and values - don't betray your principles in reaction. It's tempting to stoop to their level, but reactive ploys only diminish your worth further. Stand firm in who you are and exemplify kindness, understanding, and fairness, even if others don't reciprocate. Don't let someone else's behavior drag you down; rise above it by staying true to yourself."

I want to go above and beyond, and yet I am restricted by these chains made by society. If someone wants to go beyond what society expects of them, then why should they not be allowed to? Go beyond what society expects of you, and break those chains.

When I start to write, I try to make of myself a blank slate...left with just the impulse that got me there, at the lone scrimmage. I sit quietly...waiting.... Until an interesting thought or phrase, can be even one word eagerly presenting itself. Then I begin the poem, letting the impulse lead beyond. To me, poetry, along with everything else a writer uses for definition and motivation, above all else is viewed as sacred -- alive and independent literary expression in a manic, schizoid way:)

Friendship when steps into amongst family members, relations become beautiful, for it is the only relation which is above every give and take of life.

I have some very old photographs, postcards -- the images have changed with age -- someday soon to be all gone -- life is like Polaroids, but faith and love above all, I truly feel in my heart, somehow transcend the lethal memory of time.

Never forget: Whatever or whosoever is genuinely above you can never be below you no matter how manipulative you are; What is built with integrity or with awareness is always a masterpiece not to be disputed or limited.

Why would we want a heaven without loving consciousness to experience and recall friendships infinitely? Silly to think that God would allow us such fond thoughts, and not Himself cherish tender togetherness above all else. Wrong to think that such depth of bliss, such profound cohesiveness could spring out of random evolution unmediated -- Have no doubts. Heaven is our Live Feeling Eternal Companion, and not a random Spiritual Stranger, writer of previously unknown preference and vocabulary.

Pain can teach us to be strong, To rise above and carry on.

As living on earth ,
Some decisions can be above your choices "

Mom, you are gone to heaven above but not forgotten, missed every moment of every day. You are not with me in this realm. Yet, I feel your spirit in all things that I do.

Life above the waves, Blue Sky reflects light, deeper than we care to admit. Sun and gold found in the unlikeliest depths, lighting up all dimensions. And we rise. Eventually.
