"I feel writers paint with our words. Painters use their paints. Both paint and words come from the artist."

"I feel paint or words both come from the artist."

Clouds are a delight to the eye, supreme paintings floating in the sky.

"Paint with paint or paint with words just make it breathless."

For sure, we can overwork things, and ourselves...when painting, an important mastery of art is to sense when to stop. I do...but like you am seldom certain. Once risen above the self, it is such a daunting responsibility knowing all that we do also represent elements of God.

If you want something, there are three question you must ask yourself.
What do you really, really want?
What will you give up in order to get it?
What will you do in order to maintain what you get?

Poetry is similar to painting: learning when to put down a brush is just as important as the reason for picking one up.

Creativity...a moment with God! Yes, spirit is everywhere one is open to receiving. The everything that went into a small blossom -- each wonder an introduction, a doorway to one's greater miracle of divinely seeing and expressing. Nothing exists outside of God...and all are connected, meridians of The Infinite. Write...paint...invent~ a never-ending journey.

Just my opinion, years of analysis...but God Alone will decide when prayer is enough for His immediate intervention. In most cases, He has given us the power, right and duty to self govern (that is Free Will). With that in mind, most prayer without the sacrifice of personal action will not accomplish a desired goal. Unfortunately/fortunately that has created human devils and saints.

A wish is only the first faint whisper of intention and must be nourished with deep and abiding purpose to grow steadily, inevitably, into the great symphony of our whole being.

“God hath given you one face,” sister, daughter, wife and mother: Not even Vermeer could hope to trace let alone paint you such another.

“Even when the winds of uncertainty blow, gratitude anchors the heart, courage guides the steps, and faith shields the soul.”

|
“In the annulled hush where being sheds its skin,
And place and hour fall mute before the mind,
Primeval meanings—chaste of taint or sin—
Alight, immaculate, from thought unlined.”

Poetry should express emotion with structure and restraint, because, paradoxically, structure can make the expression of emotion seem more, not less, spontaneous, and restraint can make emotional expression seem more, not less, intense.

|
It is as absurd and futile to try to explain the meaning of a poem by constructing a prose paraphrase of it as it would be to use the same method to try to explain the meaning of a painting, dance, or musical performance.

Certainty doesn´t prove faith but uncertainty does. February 2025.

Contests exist to assist us towards self-validation. When AI, as algorithm, is involved in contests they become highly suspect in such assistance. All involved in keeping a system of Contest placement in place using artificial intelligence are involved in fallacy & cannot call themselves poets. Poets, like other artists, are to advance authenticity & consciousness, not impede it. Competitive life as part of Dark Ages will therefore be maintained holding humanity back.

"As an artist writing with your pen writing your words. As an artist painting with your brush pretty colors."

Paintings are bits of colourful gossips spread mostly on canvas. ~Nkwachukwu Ogbuagu

"Don't try to coerce respect through intimidation or obsequiousness - these strategies undermine self-worth and lead to frustration. Authentic respect cannot be compelled; it stems from others' own judgments and choices. Instead of trying to control others' behavior, focus on self-respect and upholding your own standards of integrity. Lead by example through principled and rational responses that speak for themselves. By doing so, you'll maintain personal power and demonstrate true character."

"When insulted or mistreated, maintain your integrity and values - don't betray your principles in reaction. It's tempting to stoop to their level, but reactive ploys only diminish your worth further. Stand firm in who you are and exemplify kindness, understanding, and fairness, even if others don't reciprocate. Don't let someone else's behavior drag you down; rise above it by staying true to yourself."

Life is painting. The more you paint, the more you become successful failure.

My mom didn’t need saints. She knew their recipes.

She wasn’t a saint. She was something tougher: human.

Maintain focus to avoid distraction. Maintain focus to maintain direction. Where there is focus there is achievement and good success. Prof Adejola Joseph.

"Our ink to our words is our paint as writers."

|
In the absence of proactive measures to abjure the foreseen, to mitigate any risk thereof, actions become reactionary at best, and matters that should lie within the realm of great certainty instead assume the guise of crisis.

"Paint your words with pretty colors, as you paint your pretty eggs with color"

The Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle is a statement about the Fourier transform, not about nature. The first falls where the second is not applicable.
