Carrie Richards Date: 10/13/2008 7:23:00 AM Kristin...once again...my thanks for recognizing my little poem! My first win, and has encouraged me to enter more often, although I am still humbled by the brilliant writers on the soup! I can't tell you how much your kind words meant...thinking of your grandfather, you felt this poem exactly the way It felt to me when I wrote it about my father. He lived his last 3 years with us, until we lost him just awhile ago. So this was written with him in mind. I can still see him out there raking up our leaves!
