Congrats to All the Winners of, The Celebrating You Contest!

Blog Posted by Kristin Reynolds: 5/16/2008 3:20:00 AM

This contest was AWESOME! Thank you to all who entered, it was a true joy to read all of these amazingly, powerful poems. I asked for poems that when read, was like looking into the poets eyes...and I got it. Lovely.

A special congrats to John Heck and Gino Dolorzo for sharing the first place spot!!! These were both so totally captivating in their own personal way, I could not decide!!! WELL DONE!!!

Also, I had some really really good entries that I could not place (but wanted to) due to spelling errors and grammatical mix-ups...that was a bummer.

Again, thanks everyone for entering, you are all each a joy - in your hearts and poetry, and all deserve merit for being able to express your trials, love and life through words - CONGRATS TO ALL WHO ENTERED- fab job!!!

God bless you all,

Kristin XO

Dear Kristin - Wishing you all the best. I applaud you for sponsoring and executing a wonderful poetry contest. Truly excellent entries - so glad I was not the judge of this personal and enlightening poem-fest. Congratulations to all the winners. So much talent here at PSoup! Makes one proud to be a part of this creative community! BTW - Kristin - I agree with Sharon - how do you find the time to accomplish writing great poetry and sponsoring contests? You're simply amazing! Peace and hugs, John

Thanks, guys! Shar - how do I find time? Um...it's called "waking up at 5:30 am to have ME time every single morning before the kids wake up" time. lol Then...nap time. I have gotten pretty good at seemless "time-juggling" too. And Carol, yes, there is definatly more than enough talent here, a neverending well of it! XO Kristin

Kristin, You did a wonderful job of picking the winners in your contest. I know it is very hard to do. Thank you for sponsoring it. The contests always seem to be over before I can enter them. But, with all the talent we have here at the Soup there are always enough entries to pick from I am sure. Congratulations to all the winners. Love, Carol

Thank you so much Kristin and congratulations to all the winners! With so many young children I do not know how you manage to consistently post quality poems, comment so generously on others and sponsor contests! You are an amazing talent in many ways! Thank you again for taking the time and effort to run this contest and for the great honor of being included among such talented poets. Love, Shar
