We hope everyone is doing well amid this worldwide pandemic. We encourage you to listen to the authorities and even perform self-imposed quarantines if possible. Even though you may not be in the high-risk groups, please be considerate of others in your level of exposure.

If you are bored...write more poetry.

Hi Mark, Thank you for your thoughtful post. In Kenya we are currently under a curfew. Soon, there might be a lock-down, if the numbers escalate to some level. The problem is that there is no clear plan of offering basic stuff as food, water, and medicine to all the citizens, including those living in slums who are vulnerable. At least almost 200, 000 have recovered from the virus. Let's pray and hope all this ends soon...

Hi Mark, again, because I cannot post my own blog, I thought you wouldn't mind if I posted this information here. There is a video on youtube called "The Science Behind the Coronavirus" presented by Dr. Patrick Soon-Shiong, and posted by the Los Angles Times. He speaks of the molecular composition of the molecule called corona virus. It contains important information everyone should know. The molecule is protected by a layer of greasy substance, get rid of the grease and the molecule dies. period. I suggest using Dawn dish soap to wash your hands and even your face and all substances in your home. Everyone should hear this video. I hope you don't mind. Hugs, Catie :)

Thank you Mark. These are indeed trying times. I waited to comment because I wanted to see just how far this would go. I think everyone should reread these comments and see just how childish this has become. The world economy is on the verge of collapse. People are dying from an invisible microbe. Before it has finished maybe millions of people will have died. Children losing parents, grandparents families altered forever. For once in your lives think about someone other than yourself. This is probably the most catastrophic event of this century. Wake up. These petty squabbles are ridiculous.

The most sensible thing I've heard here Daniel - btw, I'm back home up north - weird out there - we must be strong, resolute, sensible and logical, not panic and take care of ourselves and each other and be extra cautious of those who would use this as an evil way to take advantage of those who are too easily taken advantage of. If everyone takes care of those around them all will be much better. Certainly nothing is served by doing otherwise. Take care of yourself and all you love and care for.

We as poets write about love and peace yet we act like we do not even know what the words mean. Everybody get a grip on reality. In case you guys don't know, some of us are probably going to get sick and possibly die. Don't let your last words to someone be hateful. What a load to carry.

Catie, you have been around PS for a while, and I know you have seen enough to know the truth. Upon my arrival at PS, you were a TBP sympathizer and you have remained consistent over the years with this. I speak out against TBP when they abuse someone, but my words are not causing division or driving peeps away from this site, TBP are. Like I mentioned elsewhere, this issue is bigger than any one person, or any one incident. This issue is real, valid, systemic and complex. It is not simply someone being offended. It is abuse, the cycle of which is apparent to anyone wanting to see the truth.

I don't get it Rob. I have hardly been here at all in more than a year. I have only a handful of friends here, most of them are gone now, and the ones that remain I will stand by them as being people with integrity. Because people are so unique and different from each other, people are often misunderstood. Someone may be offended. But I will tell you to give up on labeling them and blaming them when it is all YOUR talk that is causing division among the poets.

Catie - it was Robert Lindley. TBP = The Beautiful People. Soupmail can be monitored as well. Some of your friends know the details, it is best to ask them at this point. My only advice, remember what they tell you and see if it is congruent with what you see happening around the site.

Catie - They are TBP after the Marilyn Manson song of the same name. It fits the predacious personalities among us. And naming them, come on, you think I would get myself banned so easily. Becca, you should not be surprised that I am in the mix. I have resisted TBP since joining in 2014 and befriending Plato. As far as referencing Beatrice, among TBP, she was one of the most dynamic and intelligent, typical qualities that make a leader. Keith's potential false flag op reminded me of her.

I did not take offense at your 'mic drop' even if you were using it as a false flag. The aggressor in question has a history of being abusive. Though he has gotten better (pertaining to frequency), this was not his first time. Kinda like his hundredth. This is much bigger than just him and Robert. Bigger than us. Like I said, a history, a very long one. This why these blogs continue. So you see, this is part of life too, so I tell you the same thing you just said - Just deal with it.

Thanks Mark, hope you and your family and staff are well too. I am sort of on self-isolation as of today because everything in my city of Ottawa, Canada is closed, even coffee shops, grocery stores, drug stores are still open. The Prime Minister is going to close Canada's borders (except the USA so trade can continue) and there will be no flights leaving Canada by Friday, if I understood his message correctly that is. But yes, we can write poetry all day long and I have a thousand things I can do also, I am stocked up with food and all my necessities and so I am ready to wait it out for now _Constance

I'm fine thanks Mark although I have been sick the last 2 days I hope you and your family are well.wilst you are online and the boss of PS I would suggest things would be better if it was not insinuated in blogs that I and other poets are 'haters' and have written hate poetry. It is pretty ironic to be labelled by folk who claim to be peace makers, perhaps you could deal with this as admin seem to be ignoring this . thanks Jan

He;s already deleted 2 comments he made to me Tania as is his usual M O -but he still advocates he is a peacemaker . I have him blocked so why he is able to comment beggars beleif but I will not be driven away from the site. he told me he would leave if I didnt support him on teppos other blog and then he says he is taking a break which has lasted all of 5 minutes. if he truly wanted peace he would stick to writing poetry and not do blogs or comments
