Hi everyone,
I'd just like to thank you all for your kindness and support - with extra thanks to Sara, Linda-Marie and Gail for the uplifting blogs.
My dad slipped away so peacefully - much, much sooner than we'd expected - but I know he was spared more suffering. We are all thankful for that.
I'd never appreciated Dylan Thomas' 'Do not go gentle into that good night' before, but I often thought of those words as I sat by Dad's bedside.

Hello Jack. I am so sorry your Tad has passed away. But I know it is comforting that he no longer feels the pain. =My Tad died in January, they say the first year is the hardest, but we get througn it with the help of friends. Chin up, he wouldnt want you sad... Seren
