Thank you to everybody who entered my contest! I enjoyed reading them all. Congratulations to the winners. This was an interesting contest to judge, solely on affect, impact, fun to judge, hopefully fun to write for.

I love your short form, Maureen. I think it's ideal for those who are wary of tackling haiku, yet would not feel uneasy at expressing their thoughts in this form. Though my entry did not manage to cross the finish line, I would still like to thank you for providing the inspiration. Regards // paul

Yours is a beautiful piece Constance! It was hard to cut. It felt to me haiku, less more than the haiku allows that I was looking for, feeling for. If that makes sense. xomo
