Jack Ellison's Journey Is Remarkable For 13 years or so, 10014 poems, Jack went up the hill to fetch a laugh or two... here at Poetry Soup. And we laughed along with him as he threaded the needle of his limericks, 5 liner delights, that left us in stitches. It was great material. Recently we learned that Jack is leaving, which is sad. But inevitable. Because for every beautiful sunrise there's a beautiful sunset

Darlene, your point is well taken. I agree it is hard to read. I did my best..wanted to make a special card for Jack and I made a.mistake along the way. With an android phone if you enlarge the screen by pinching your fingers and enlarging the screen the text is a.little easier to read..

I'm away again and just noticed this, lovely tribute to our good friend Jack, we've had much laughter and banter over the years and his humour will be missed, sadly health issues and age catches up with us. Tom

Tom, you and Jack certainly had some great volleys. You along with his friends and followers ... added the winds in his sails that inspired him on his journey here at PS. It was great to see the sunshine.

Lovely Tribute Connie. Jack has so much talent in all the many things he partakes in. He was a down to earth fellow who also had a great sense of humor. Poetry and writing Limericks were among his many passions. Thank you for sharing all the other insightful information about him. I am sure others will enjoy your blog that were followers of Jack. I will miss his funny Limericks and responses to my comments. He always put a smile on my face. Loved his wit and charm. Thank you Connie for this great blog. I hope Tom Cunningham sees it he is also a big fan of Jacks. Thank you again for posting great blog...

Constance, I don't believe anything has changed. Although I would smile if he gifted Poetry Soup with an encore.

I have noticed for a while, that we can’t comment on his poetry. He was a great friend for a while. I enjoyed his humor and other writes. He certainly is an interesting man.
