Hi Guys,

Just wanted to thank everyone who participated in the contest and to those who gave encouraging messages to the participants. There were many fine entries, the top three were very tough to seperate as they all had the substance but with varying styles and forms. Again, thanks for the support.

A million thanks for my placement, Anthony. In all these years on Poetry Soup, I have never written something about blood. Blood is sacred, it can also be interpreted as a symbolism as I have. oh man, finally the thought came to me how to do this contest and I woke up and ran here to find out it was judged. Well, Congrats to all. I think mine would not have measured up anyway to some of the amazing things I was reading.
