Hi Guys and Gals.I've been getting alot of inquiries about this contest as far as providing some of the names of poetry soup soupers that have passed away..The following is a list of the poets that I know of that have passed away..by the way they are also on my poets that I follow page..

* John Heck

*Linda-Marie sweetheart

*Just that Archaic poet(Chan Hurst)

*Keith Bickerstaffe

*Brandon Basson

*Daver Austin

*Tim Ryerson

*Lucilla Carrillo

*Cherl Dunn

Feel free to add to the list as I know there are probably many more..

Cherl Dunn is the one whose name I could not recall . I came here this morning searching for a poet whose name starts with Ch, but then I saw what Jan wrote and that helped me to know. Lucilla mentioned by Jan was lovely too. You should add both those ladies' names to the list.

OH YES!! It was so sad about both of them and you have made me remember the lady I was trying to recall below here: Cherl Dunn. I knew it was something with CH. OH my gosh, I went to her very last poem and saw she had dedicated it to ME!! It was about the Mad Hatter. I guess because I am always running around feeling late!

thanks for this reminder list for poets to read the works of all these beautiful people. I was friends with Linda and Tim but did not know the others very well. Anyway, will try to remember this one lady who died several years ago and it was such a shock to me! She wrote very long poems. Does anyone remember?

Anthony, I love your idea that you are doing with this uncontest to honor our poets who passed away. I know another one but her name is not coming to me right now and I need to get to bed. I will try to think of it and let you know tomorrow! Also, I think you said it's fine if different poets honor the same poet more than once, right? It will have to be that way in order to fill your contest!

I don't think he has. Perhaps Joe is spending more time with his grandchildren. He certainly was one of the best writers here!

I looked for an obit for Robert Quigley and found quite a few. Without more info about him, I'm not sure. Do you remember where he lived or where he was from?

I remember when he died. We had shared some music and became good friends. So sorry when I heard of his death. He seemed so vital!
