In Chicago for 6 months

Hey guys,

Miss ya much!!! Just wanted to let everyone know that I am in Chicago for 6 months. My girls are back home in MD with their dad and I miss them terribly.

As everyone knows I work part-time as a caregiver; what you don't know is that my FT job is as an advisor for Laureate Higher Education. This is my 1st travel assignment since 2007. I love my job but boy do I miss my girls.

I haven't had a minute to think let alone write and my heart desires it! I will have some down-time this weekend and will be judging my last contest. Expect results by Sunday at the latest. I hope everyone is doing well. Big hugs... Lay

What a lovely picture!! Enjoy your stay in Chicago...but stay warm. Heard they were blasted in the last winter storm! Indeed it is hard to be away from your children, so I hope the time passes quickly for you. Good luck!

Congrats Lay on a super spectacular time of your life and career my friend... an awesome feat and enjoy with pride and luv ... missing the children is so hard on a parent to leave them behind but providing for them in the best way brings a little comfort while they are with thier Dad.. keep us posted my friend.. and much success ... looking forward to your winners list with luv..
