Don't make it too hard for yourself though, it's hard enough when you're used to the "trials" of judging, you're a wee baby girl. Whatever is fine! Light & Love

Lay the only way both participants receive credit is if both are allowed to post the poem and both are allowed to enter it .. receiving the same placement usually.. great idea and hard to determine if a poet on Soup is chosen unless u know the majority of them all.. many of us do.. some have written with their spouse or signifcant other.. my husband has no poetic merit..haha so I chose a poet from Soup.. our creativity blends well so hope u agree and enjoy.. good luck my friend with luv..

One last thought, and its just what keeps me here and inspires me.. Whatever I write whether it gets 1 person or 20 to relate with it, I feel amazed and touched.. Sorry Lay if I got away a bit from your blog..

Honestly for me , I never looked at the points until about six months into my joining the Soup.. So for me thr credit is the honor of someone wanting to write with me like Linda, and reading the comments she gets which is also a pleasure. Linda wanted me to post it on my name but I was raised, ladies first..Great contest and I won when I was asked to write with her.. Just my thoughts...luv Michael

I wish there were a way to give both collaborators credit, Lay, but I don't think it's possible. You said we could write with someone here whom we truly love. Keep in mind there is a lot of love on this site. Romantic love and friendship love. Maybe if you write to Soup Admin they will allow you to give both writers credit for winning poems. It may be worth a shot. Love, Carolyn

You have understaken a difficult challange in this contest,Lay, my first thought was to say, increase you enteries allowed and let each enter duplicate poems, not sure if that would work, but each would get ranking points, which is the issue here, and then have duplicate placements, that would take some work on your part matching up the poems, just a thought~~ I would find it very difficult to write a love poem with someone I did not love, so that is why I chose my boyfriend, Henri~~
