A SPINOFF BLOG on poetry forms

This blog is a spin off from blog below on writing by numbers..
in 1995 pre the internet era poetry was not a hobby of mine but I had always been interested in words and especially 'oneliners' .
As some may know from earlier blogs here many moons ago now, for some reason as I sat in my back garden in the shade on . a day much like today.. a poem popped in my head..it was an alliteration with a Christian theme.I sent to a magazine who encouraged me by publishing it.It was entitled ' Connections ' and is published in my anthology here on PS.( I have it in a little frame in our lounge to remind me where I started this long poetry journey that led me here in 2007)
It wax a few years later that I came across the American cinquains of Adelaide Crapsey and it was this delightful five line form that stimulated the spark to my becoming a poet.
Is there a particular form that your muse used to prompt you to write poetry?
Do share it with us, perhaps there is a title in that form even now in your anthology here at PS that we can read?
