Hello, Everyone. 

My name, is William Darnell Sr. I'm a retired carpenter, and a father of 5 grown children, 4 boys, and a beautiful daughter. My wife's passed away, 13 yrs now, so that makes me, a widower. My oldest, a son, is passed as well. I also have 6 grandchildren, 4 boys, and 2 beautiful granddaughter's. I've been writing poetry for around 20 yrs. My inspiration's God, my 7th grade English teacher, and my woodshop teacher. The greatest thing I have ever done, was married my wife, may she rest in peace, and the children she has given us. I was supposed to write a story of a tragedy that has happened to my family. But, having some difficulties. So, I'm just going to come right out and tell you. Two of my children had been raped, by a family member as some or maybe most of you might well know. My late wife's little brother done this. I hold myself responsible, most say, it wasn't my fault and I get that. But, the truth is, we knew. more to come... And, for this reason alone, that we knew, I hold responsible. I, as a father, husband, protector, and a man should have been assertive, regardless of my wife's feelings, having our children's best interest at mind, and said no, absolutely not! Ok, this is a Bio, an entry as to who I am, a briefing. I'll carry this story over to my blog. Anyways, that's me!

Neil Young, singing Harvest Moon, released in 1992.

Neil Young, singing Harvest Moon, Neil at a small nightclub, Mountain House Restaurant & Bar, in this rendition video, 2012, he and his band were doing. His wife was in it and at one point, was dancing and it was so serene and blissful. The video and the Mountain House Restaurant & Bar were recorded in Canada because this is where Neil Young is from. He owns a ranch there and Old Man, released in 1972, is about his Foreman that ran the ranch. Neil Young has inspired me with his music, rock/folk, for most of my life. But this picture is from a video and you can find it on YouTube. I hope this blog post has found you well, and perhaps, inspired by this incredible musician/songwriter, as Neil is a legend and a fantastic artist. I have every album he has created, even those of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. Well, there you have it. This blog originated from an intrusion from a comment I made on Darlene De Beaulieu. But I was scrolling through comments and noticed and intruded there in another Souper and talked about Harvest Moon, and simply made a connection that we three had found in common between us three which is poetry and Neil Young. I hope this finds you all well.

Hi, Darlene! How are you? Good, I trust! Man, what can I say here about Neil, everything possible, that's what. Lol. I have a lifetime of his music, and there are just too many to list on, he has quite a bit of #1 hit songs out there. Harvest Moon is a well-crafted song, and I love his approach to how he usually talks and interacts with his fans before starting to sing, giving a brief history and reasons why he wrote it. I'll think of you people now, every time I turn his music on. A connection between what we do, and that's writing, and Neil Young, a folk/southern rock tempo musician. Nice to see you, Darlene, and I always appreciate it when you stop by for commenting and visiting. Have a great early evening, Darlene, take care. Re 'Neil Young' at my funeral I WANT - 'Cortez the Killer' the longest version possible, if whomever is saying goodbye, they can at least listen to a track that should bring tears, especially if they have a history immagination . . . x jaf.

Hi, James! Agreed, I know his music inside-out. I've been working on another picture of him and his wife dancing in the same video, he came from. One of the best musicians and he'll become a legend when he passes away, leaving here his legacy. Best of Wishes, William
