William Darnell Sr Biography

Hello, Everyone

My name, is William Darnell Sr. I'm a retired carpenter, and a father of 5 grown children, 4 boys, and a beautiful daughter. My wife's passed away, 13 yrs now, so that makes me, a widower. My oldest, a son, is passed as well. I also have 6 grandchildren, 4 boys, and 2 beautiful granddaughter's. I've been writing poetry for around 20 yrs. My inspiration's God, my 7th grade English teacher, and my woodshop teacher. The greatest thing I have ever done, was married my wife, may she rest in peace, and the children she has given us. I was supposed to write a story of a tragedy that has happened to my family. But, having some difficulties. So, I'm just going to come right out and tell you. Two of my children had been raped, by a family member as some or maybe most of you might well know. My late wife's little brother done this. I hold myself responsible, most say, it wasn't my fault and I get that. But, the truth is, we knew. more to come... And, for this reason alone, that we knew, I hold responsible. I, as a father, husband, protector, and a man should have been assertive, regardless of my wife's feelings, having our children's best interest at mind, and said no, absolutely not! Ok, this is a Bio, an entry as to who I am, a briefing. I'll carry this story over to my blog. Anyways, that's me!

Best of Wishes,

William

Hi William first I want to say that I am so sorry for what happened to your daughters. I can't imagine the pain and guilt you went through. I sincerely do not know if I would have been able not to hurt the perpetrator. God does call us to forgive and love our enemies. Forgiving and loving is the the hardest thing to do. I hope you have resolved your emotions about this and have closer. Do not let this person ruing your life for what happened. Realize it was not your fault it was someone you trusted. He broke that trust William if he did not repent he will surely be in hell. If he went to prison he is a marked man. Again thank you for Milton's drawing and the effort you made in writing and

William happy new Year and Our Lord Jesus Christ blessings to you, your son, and daughter and all those you love. I pray and hope you have peace and comfort in your mind and heart for the years to come. God bless you and thank you for having the courage to share the events in your life. May you find comfort in our Lord may he heal your pain, and restore peace in your heart and remove any guilt Satan tries to hurt you with...

I did hurt this perverse character, by beating him for two and a half hours until my soul had been shaken by the Lord's thundering voice. I wasn't allowed to take his life, his breathing I wanted to be exhausted, but the Lord said I couldn't kill him, it wasn't my right to. Just stay my course, but this tragedy is progress in the works. I love your candor here though. It was meaningful and empathetic. Your integrity, I must respect you. Sound words and I can only appreciate you taking this time to give candid feedback or comment. Thanks again, Michael! Oh, one more thing before I get myself backward, Haha! Happy New Year, Michael. May it bring, good health and prosperity, God Bless! Best of Wishes, William

Hello, Michael! You are most definitely right about the hardest thing to forgive me, and him. I do need to carry a love for him; however, I do not have to like him, nor do I have to have him, nor want him, in my life. But, for the love of God's will to be done, I must love him. Oh, I am not sure I can fully forgive myself because I could have changed the course of my children's fate. But for the record here, it was back then, 26 years ago, my five-year-old daughter, not pure any longer, from that day forward. And it also was my three-year-old son, sodomized.

I feel with you, and I know many here are hurting, I get that. But, when we exhaust here, and these shells give out, that alone is celebration enough. But, life is this perpetual existence, always moving forward. Life won't end yet, for thousands and thousands of years from now! I hope this brings comfort to you, and perhaps others, but I celebrate his life he lived here. Happy New Year, Constance! May it bring you good health and prosperity. Best of Wishes, William

Ms. Brandy, I just got through saying Belles's comment. I'd like to believe, Milton was with me, as I drew his portrait. I did talk with this portrait as if it were Milton, trying to know him better, and he said, Keep your eye on his portrait, he said, with a little more shading here and over there. Haha, I was more than willing to draw this portrait of him and had a fun and pleasant conversation with Milton as he emerged on my canvas. Great writer, well deserved this, Portrait of Milton. Respect, I did have for him, just is one of those moments. Thank you so very much, Ms. Brandy. Happy New Year, and may it bring you good health and prosperity! Best of Wishes, William
