**************************

My biography will be very limited for now.   Here , I can express myself in poetic form but in real life I much rather prefer to be far less forward  I am a 60 year old American citizen , born and raised in the glorious South! A heritage that I am very proud of and thank God for as it is a blessing indeed ~

Currently married to my beautiful young wife(Riza) a lovely filipina  lady and we have a fantastic 7 year old son, Justin ~

I have truly lived a very wild life as a younger man but now find myself finally very happily settled down for the duration of my life~

I decided to rest here and express myself with hopes that it may in some way help others, for I see here a very diverse  and fine gathering of poets, artists, and caring folks~

Quickly finding friends here that amaze me with such great talent~~

I invite any and all to comment on my writes and send me soup mail to discuss

whatever seems important to them ~

Thank you my friend. Sad but reality is recent events here at this site have taken a toll. No just those that stay here to disrupt but those that in fear of them so easily surrender to them and/or believe their lies. Teppo was correct, too many are eager to please those that they fear or those that they mistakenly/blindly admire. World has always had such trolls-but now they get to operate in hidden hideouts on the internet....

Robert, Your research as well as your poetry may not be appreciated by many, but know that I and all those who have commented certainly do. I've been introduced to a few poets I never would've read if not for you. Thank you.

Thank you my friend. I have found it quite hard to compose here with the peace and serenity that I once had. I know that you know of that which I speak. Truth is some make it their goal to disturb the peace and joy that others have had in writing and reading poetry at this site. Some are here just to disrupt that. Sad but true.

I would encourage others to do a bit of researching on this and even the other poets shown in this series. Besides the joy of discovery, each of these poets have so much to offer in their life's work--their body of poetry to which they sacrificed so very much to gift to the world. Learning more is a key in poetry, unless one already considers oneself already at the top of their game, imho.

Thank you my friend. I hope this information on this wonderful poet may benefit others. It is important to understand other poets. especially so poets of the past that exhibited such immense talent, dedication and a huge part of their lives to the Art of Poetry. Honoring such past greats and their accomplishments is adding to the majesty and importance of poetry. Giving due credit is simply a way of honoring present time and poetry as the Art that we ourselves so enjoy and even dedicate a huge part of our own lives to. God bless....

As always, some extraordinary work, my friend, and superb tribute, you should be very proud, and I enjoyed it thoroughly ... but I am short on words today for some reason, so consider this wing man a dying clown. Stay well, Sir Roberto.

Thank you my friend. This fifth blog was to be the halfway point in this series but for several reasons I think it wise to just stop the series. Seems to me the subject matter is thought unimportant to modern poets. History , knowledge and discovering the life, trials, dedication, joys and/or sorrows of immensely talented poets from past eras and finding greater depths in which to understand and write in this Art perhaps is now thought to be of no real importance. No, you are not a dying clown my friend. Just a fine poet not ready to succumb to the stalling decrees that modern poetry demands we must adhere too. I wrote a poem titled, I walk with the dinosaurs, never placed it here. Those dinosaurs are the golden poets of old. God bless...

I liked the previous poet's style better, but this is another fine discovery. And to your; "youthful vigor blindly wasted" - imagine if we hadn't?

Rob, one must face the reality that we are born for a purpose. Life is not an accident. Once we mature we see the world as it truly is-- a dark and foreboding place- too oft hellbent on our destruction. Decisions we make and how we may choose to address that stark reality sets our course be it for good or for bad. Sad part is that so many in this modern world simply refuse to face that reality once they finally see it and many are so blinded that they never see it... God bless..

Bitter sweet life sentence, been 16 years now. Lifer cause back then, I had no excuse, because I was fully convicted and instructed in body, mind, soul and spirit concerning that covenant. Still, I tried to hide behind technical rationalizations when trying to take something that wasn't mine. God can bless us in retributions too.

Thank you my friend. I do imagine . Problem is we can never measure how much we have truly profited from our youthful mistakes. Or would we be less if we had not those measure despite some of them being so very bitter sweet. God bless...
