Just put gravy on whatever you eat for three or four days and you'll be celebrating Thanksgiving.

Thank you Jack! Best wishes to you also. I have visted Plymouth, Mass., in the US, and the little replica village of the first pilgrim settlement, Just this week I watched an old movie, the story of the sailing of the Mayflower. We don't often hear too much about Plymouth England, I would love very much to see more of where you live, this important launching place of our American roots! Best wishes to you and yours!

Have a wonderful weekend, Jack. I think I heard the clanking of your glass as you gave the toast! Love, Carolyn

Culture is gradually being eroded in the cities of the UK. I think it's based on the age of us. The US and Canada being young nations still harbour it. There will come a day when it becomes diluted like ours has, sadly :(

Hi Jack-Thanks so much for wishing us a Happy Thanksgiving. I'm glad you will be watching football (I assume) and drinking like the rest of us. BTW...I am voting for you for #1 of my year-end awards (see my blog below). Come and vote if you get a chance :)

Thanksgiving is my all time fave holiday 'cause to me it's all about gettin' outa the rat race and relaxin' with good food, good friends, good family, good vibes of gratitude.. do y'all have a holiday like that over there? Or maybe the rest of the world does this more oftenly, we tend to strive to stress ourselves out to be over-achievers over here... Beauty day to ya, jack, namaste~N

Go ahead and celebrate it. You can be thankful your country is no longer carrying the financial burden we would be for you right now if we had remained a colony. hahaha.
