Okay, back again. Got interrupted in the middle of the last one. Now I'll try to get in a few biographical facts before I have to take off here again (about l0 minutes to spare).
I'm 48 yrs. old, with long, but receding silverish hair. Lifelong resident of Laurel, MD. Married for 25 years to my High School sweetheart (let us breathe a collective sigh of Romanticism) Kathleen - smartest girl in the school by vote! We've two children, Alex, just turned 21, who aspires to become a cop, and Elizabeth, just turned 18, who aspires to be a psychiatrist. Yes, I groan at the concept of the higher schooling this will take. She is, however, the subject of the apparently popular "Little Bulldog" , so I'm confident that she'll make it, if it can somehow be afforded.
I was a philosophy major, my wife majored in Latin. She actually taught this for 14 yrs. successfully at a private school. I, on the other hand, landed up working as an aide in the Special Ed. Dept. of a public school, where I've been for the last 27 yrs. I don't feel badly about this, though; having risen to a gratifying level of acheivement insofar as is possible in this circumstance. I've been writing stuff on and off since High School, but have only been published regularly in the last 15 years or so.
We're both Neopagans by philosophic inclination, and much of my prose writing reflects this. So, Merry Meet to all those in the community out there.
Unfortunately, I find myself again badly pressed for time, so I'll write up yet more details asap. Thanks immensely once more for all your kind support; I'll be acknowledging it more personally as soon as I get the chance.
Regards to All,
William T. Masonis
