Emotional Puppet
The strings you held with that look of desire.
A puppet master with a heart of fire.
You manipulate the strings while I stood center stage.
A puppet lost in the "heart" of your maze.
For 3 long years I did your bidding.
Blinded by emotion while you stood there grinning.
The wood has splintered and my clothes are tattered.
The strings have broken and the spot light shattered.
Controlling a puppet was your ultimate pleasure.
You were the master but the strings I severed.
At last I'm free from your web of lies.
But without the puppet how will the master survive.
