Struggling Through Depression

The sad spring showers cover the sky
Like an umbrella, hiding the sun
No matter how hard you try
Darkness encloses your body

Like a hand around your throat,
Your breath coming to a standstill
All hope may seem gone,
But it’s never too late

Soon, the showers turn to a drizzle
A ray of sunshine shines right on you
A rainbow slowly breaks across the sky
And you know, everything’s alright

Slowly, your body will be engulfed in color
No more sad days will be in your way
Life will be full of stars and magic
Leading you to your future
