Peace
Peace, a word sought by many,
Away from war and strife, that has been seen by plenty.
From the prayers of a young girl,
To those who were caught in the whirl.
Who can't find the hope in the world.
Peace, a word sought by many,
Hasn't been seen by the hearts of any.
Yet finally it comes after years of death,
A beautiful thing not gone in a breath.
No longer ruled by fear of soldiers,
Now felt by those who were colder.
The dream of those who are now older.
Peace, a word sought by many,
Has finally come to those without a penny.
