Regret

This ruthless entity called Time…
Cast upon me a prodigious spell,
Which hit me with all its grandeur and gentleness at once,
Filled the void with colours and sounds of the world,
Formed dreamy contours in the future.
And then in a sadistic compulsion,
Time took everything away…
Leaving behind just the grief and the void.
Now all that I am left with is the regret,
That I might have ignored the possibility of darkness…
To not have appreciated more, the brightness of the day!
