Scare Me Home

That boy was lost when he was brought up, born to be a king
He found himself in broken records, on isolated streets
We'd spend forever looking up, waiting to find a sign
Like all our dreams were in the sky
Written above with stars of faded light

All I know is having you there is hope
All I want is to escape the chains of broken hearts

Darling hold me close and we'll decide
If we should run if we should hide
I was blind but now I see: all your life's a broken dream
And to your hearts a faded path, and no ones ever been this close
But I brought a light in case you try to scare me home

That boy is beauty in his words that'd melt a burning sun
All the stage becomes his tool for breaking hearts in fun
He'd spend the night making music behind a vale of grace
But time will pass and people see
All the sadness written in his face

Night will come and it gets cold
Nobody ever wants to be alone

Darling hold me close and we'll decide
If we should run if we should hide
I was blind but now I see all your life's a broken dream
And to your hearts a Faded path, and no ones ever been this close
But I brought a light in case you Try to scare me home
