Darker Shades of Life

Life when related to sea,
Ups and downs of tides can be.
Comes but when a tsunami, Is tough,
For it overwhelms a half and leaves the rest rough.

Came in my life too such a season,
Made me cry which for every reason.
Though two eyes make one vision,
Viewing with one is indeed a hard mission.

Turned when my life's boat upside down,
I trembled a while, were I to drown.
Came then my captain with a life boat,
Swathed me she firm in her defensive coat.

Drenched fully in the rain of tear,
Gave she her umbrella and taught me to bear.
Pushed were we to an eventual remorse,
Though people around, none gave a lighting source.

Real face of persons pictured dad's demise,
How people transform, I started to realize.
So called friends and relatives were no more,
Only we three were left, alone in the core.

Just to see us, up above so nice,
From burnt ashes, mom made herself rise.
Devoted her entire life solely for us,
Whatever we do in turn, gonna count indeed very less :(
