Post-Heaven
she likes to watch the rain
she likes watching it fall and watching the droplets collect and gather like animals in herds
combine and shine
it reminds her of better times
times when she was holy
before the angel lost her wings
she doesn’t realize
her wings may be clipped
but her halo still glimmers
like the old gleam in her eye
from days past
