The Monk
Drenched in Disgrace,
Walking across the street,
Cause I was loosing this race,
Like an over trained athlete.
Lost all my hope,
Even on almighty.
I was being a dope,
And also flighty.
That was when,
I bumped into a Monk.
His aura, indifferent from all men,
He could hear my heart's clunk.
He didn't ask my religion,
Not even, alms.
But he asked me one question,
That relieved my state of qualm.
"Why are you pursuing ,
That academics at college?"
I woke up and began undoing,
All that I thought was knowledge.
Since then, I asked why,
For everything I did.
I was born to fly,
Inspite of all forbids.
