Midnights

Believe me when I say
I have never been this far.
I fell in love with midnights,
Counting every star.
With you by my side,
Our fingers interlocked,
We owned the night
Under a clock forever stopped.
We drink coffee
And tell each other our dreams.
We are raw with ourselves,
Poking at the seams.
Believe me when I say

And you with all my heart.
