I Look Up

I looked up
I saw a shooting star,
I saw a shooting star in the dark blue sky.
I made a wish,
I made a wish to be with you

I looked down
I saw a penny,
I saw a penny lying on the hard brown sidewalk.
I made a wish,
I made a wish to be with you

I looked to the right
I saw some birthday candles,
I saw some birthday candles on a vanilla cake.
I made a wish,
I made a wish to be with you

I looked to the left
I saw a flower,
I saw a flower sticking out on the nice green lawn.
I made a wish,
I made a wish to be with you

I looked straight ahead
I see you,
I see you right in front of me.
I made a wish,
I made a wish to be with you
And it came true
