Gone But Not Forgotton

Gone But Not Forgotten

Never knew that this day would come
That this would be my last goodbye
It seemed like only yesterday that we were laughing and having fun
I can’t get it through my head
It's like i can still feel your touch against my face
I can still hear your voice when you speak
But it's all just a dream
Can I look you in your eyes just one last time
Can i feel your hands in mines just this one last time
The tears that are falling can’t be controlled
Interrupted by the sound of the alarm
Back to reality, here goes nothing
Things just aren’t the same without you
Here holding me, touching me, telling me that everything is alright
I will never be able to feel reassured by the sound of your voice
To tell me that you love me and that i will always be safe with you
Tell me what you lack
The ability to love
Your own blood or just your back
Your love has yet to come
Choosing to hate me
You know you’re in the wrong
The power is yet to come
But the hurting inside of isn’t at all gone
